Beta Club 

Congratulations to Junior Beta Club for competing in the Georgia Beta Convention. Twenty six members traveled to Savannah, GA on Wednesday, November 29-Friday, December 1. The members of Beta traveled with sponsors Ms. Carlethia Wharton, Ms. Kimberly Jenkins, Mr. Kurt Harden, and social worker Mr. Jamaal Jenkins. Members competed in 9 academic and talent competitions.

Mr. Julius Cheek, eighth grade student, tied for 4^th place in the Speech Division II competition.

Mr. Kristopher Favers, Jr. creatively designed the trading pin, which won 3^rd place in the Trading Pin Division II competition.
