CCPS Virtual Learning Program – Grades 6–12 Interest Meeting

The Clayton County Virtual Learning Department will host an Interest Meeting for families who wish to learn more about the CCPS Virtual Learning Program for students in grades 6–12. Join us for a Virtual Information Session to discover how this flexible learning option can support your student’s academic success. During the session, we’ll share details about program expectations, course offerings, and the benefits of virtual learning, while also providing an opportunity to ask questions and gain insight into whether this program is the right fit for your student.

Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) highly values the input of our parents and guardians. Please assist us by participating in the Georgia Department of Education‘s (GaDOE) Annual Parent Satisfaction Survey, specifically designed for parents of students with disabilities. This confidential survey offers a valuable opportunity for GaDOE to gather feedback on your level of satisfaction with the services, programs, and communication provided. Your responses will help inform improvements at both the state and district levels. Please refer to the attachment and the additional information below for more details.

 

Survey Details:

  • The survey is available in both English and Spanish and consists of 10 brief questions.

Fifth Annual K-12 Girls Conference - March 31, 2026

Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is excited to announce Clayton County Board of Education member Dr. Jessie Goree's (District 3) Fifth Annual K-12 Girls Conference at the CCPS Performing Arts Center, located at 2530 Mt. Zion Parkway in Jonesboro, Georgia. The conference will take place Tuesday, March 31, 2026 beginning at 9:00 a.m. The audience will consist of pre-selected students.

 

As part of our celebration of Women's History Month, this event holds special significance to our school district as it aims to empower and inspire the young girls in our community. The conference will feature insightful talks and engaging activities designed to foster confidence, leadership skills, and personal growth among attendees. We are honored to announce that Ms. Cierra Fly Bobo, author of "8Things Every Girl Needs to Thrive in Life", will serve as our Keynote Speaker. The conference will also feature other dynamic speakers.
