CCPS to Host GMAS Family Field Day

Clayton County Public Schools is excited to invite you to the GMAS Family Field Day! This event will take place on Saturday, April 25th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on the Lake Spivey Recreation Center Lawn.

Join us for a fun and engaging day where you’ll learn valuable strategies to support your child(ren) in preparing for the upcoming Georgia Milestones Assessments. This is a great opportunity to gain helpful resources while enjoying interactive activities with your family.

Join Benjamin Straker Sr. , Clayton County Board of Education Chair, District 9 and Dr. Marvetta Bozeman, President of Empire Board of Realtists for Community Housing Impact Day, a FREE event sponsored by Empire Board of Realtists in partnership with Women of Clayton (WOCC),City of Morrow, RedefinED, MARTA,Clayton County Chamber of Commerce and more! This is your one-stop shop for everything-homeownership, real estate empowerment, and community resources.

 

Hosted by Dr. Marvetta Bozeman (President, Empire Board of Realtists) and Benjamin Straker Sr. (Board Chair, District 9, Clayton County Board of Education), this event is designed to educate and empower you.

CCPS Celebrates 2026 Exceptional Children's Week (April 12-April 18, 2026)

Clayton County Public Schools is proud to recognize Exceptional Children’s Week from April 12–18, 2026! This special week celebrates the unique gifts, talents, and contributions of students with disabilities while promoting awareness, inclusion, and advocacy across our entire school community.

This year’s theme is “Turn the Page to Possibility: Literacy Success in Special Education.” Throughout the week, schools across all grade levels will participate in themed activities, daily dress-up events, and engaging conversations highlighting exceptional learners' strengths. See the attached flyer for more information.
